The 1969 Texas Longhorns finished the season with an 11-0 record after defeating #2 Navy in the Cotton Bowl Classic to give the school their first ever National Championship. “Rawlings” manufactured “AB” autograph football signed by 63 members of the 1963 University of Texas Longhorns team. Notable signatures include Marvin Kristynik, Darrell Royal (head coach), Emmett “Duke” Carlisle, Hix Green III and James Hudson. Additional signatures include Jim Pittman (asst. coach), Ken Halm, David McWilliams, Charles Talbert, Tommy Ford, Phil Harris, George Sauer, Ernie Koy, Gordon Roberts, Harold Phillip, Calyton Lacy, Bob Schulze (asst. coach), Frank Bedrick, Tommy Mankin, Pete Lammons, Bo Price and Tom Stockton. All of the autographs have been done in black ink and rate a 7 overall. The ball is in EX condition, holds air and makes an excellent display piece. It is accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
