Kareem Abdul-Jabbar won six MVP awards to go along with his six NBA Championships. The two-time Finals MVP was named an All-Star a record 19 time. He was voted to NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team and his No. 33 was retired by the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers. At the time of his retirement in 1989, Abdul-Jabbar was the NBA's all-time leader in points scored (38,387), games played (1,560), minutes played (57,446), field goals made (15,837), field goal attempts (28,307), blocked shots (3,189), defensive rebounds (9,394), and personal fouls (4,657). He remains the all-time leading scorer in the NBA and is ranked 3rd all-time in both rebounds and blocks. On the front left tail is a “Sand-Knit” manufacturer’s tag that reads, “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the LOS ANGELES LAKERS”. Below is a “Sand-Knit” size “44” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent are two white swatches with “87” and “4”LB” embroidered on them, along with a blank white swatch. On the right inseam is a tag that reads “100% NYLON” with washing instructions. Inside the rear collar is an “NBA” size “L” tag, which is atypical for the era. On the left chest is an official “NBA” logo embroidered. Across the chest reads “LAKERS”. Player number “33” appears on the front and on the back. Across the back reads player name “ABDUL-JABBAR”. All numbering and lettering are done in the same purple on white tackle twill sewn directly onto the yellow mesh jersey. Abdul-Jabbar signed below the player name in black pen and in our opinion rates an 8 overall. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA and a Los Angeles Lakers LOA signed off by Rudy Garciduenas, the Lakers equipment manager, as well multiple high-resolution photomatches from different games throughout the season.
